BEAUTY SALON AFTER CARE

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

  • Do Not Wash eye area, get wet in the shower and avoid steam and sweat for 24 hours after lash application.

  • Avoid strong heat such as ovens or BBQs. Heat can melt or distort extensions.

  • Avoid rubbing and pulling your lash extensions as this will cause damage to your natural eyelashes.

  • Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascaras/makeup removers.

  • Use only extension safe mascaras as oils, waxes and other lipids may break down adhesion.

  • Do not use an eyelash curler on your extensions.

  • Clean and comb your extensions with an oil-free make-up remover every day.

  • Book a fill appointment every 2-3 weeks to fill in the areas where your natural lashes have fallen out and new lashes are growing in.

BODY WAXING

  • For 24 hours after waxing no excessive sweating, and no soaking or steaming the waxed areas. Only quick cleansing in a tepid shower or bath.

  • Some individuals are prone to different types of reactions from waxing. If you see any red and/or raised bumps or experience any itching you may apply over the counter hydrocortisone cream or take an over the counter antihistamine.

  • waxing should be repeated every 4 to 6 weeks for optimal results and minimal regrowth.

SPRAY TAN

  • The tan typically takes 8 - 12 hours to reach full development, 8 hours being the minimum time you should wait before showering. Your first shower should always be a rinse with no soap or shampoo. Normal showering habits can be resumed in the second shower. Cosmetic Bronze is supposed to wash off, therefore you should see the water turn a light brown during your rinse. Once you see the water run clear you should pat dry your skin and moisturize. The more you moisturize the longer the tan will last and the more evenly the tan will fade.

  • For the next 5 to 10 days, no exfoliating. That means no loofahs, sea salt, sugar, or pumice scrubs, and toners or astringents.

  • Luke warm showers are acceptable, cool if possible.

  • No saunas, steam showers, or hot showers.

  • Try not to do heavy sweat-inducing activities, as these will adversely affect your spray tan color.

  • Wash your face with a gentle cream or light foaming cleanser (products for sensitive skin are best).

  • Keep your moisturizer simple, the more natural the better it is for your skin.
